The Hopkins Series™ is named in tribute to Samuel Hopkins, the first individual inventor to be granted a United States Patent on July 31, 1790. This historically inspired plaque series celebrates the very beginning of American invention—when ideas first became formally protected under U.S. law.
The layout reflects an early patent-document style, emphasizing clarity, formality, and substance. Patent content is faithfully reproduced on a gold or silver aluminum plate, mounted over a high-gloss back plate that adds depth and contrast, and set into a handcrafted solid wood plaque designed to endure for generations.
The Hopkins Series is ideal for inventors who value historical firsts, legacy, and the foundational role individual innovators played in shaping American progress.
