Artwork & Proofing
An electronic proof will be provided upon request before production of your product. You will have 48 hours to approve or advise of changes before production is initiated. If no response is received within 48 hours, it will be assumed that the proof is accurate and production may be started. Errors in typography and/or graphic layout found after the 48 hour period will not be warrantied.
Product Exchanges and/or Returns
Engraved, imprinted and custom product orders may not be canceled or changed after electronic or implied approval is given and production begins.
Our exchange and/or refund policy is valid for a term of 30 days from the date of purchase. Defects and errors in craftsmanship are not expected, however may occur during shipping. In that case, Patent Heirloom LLC will replace the product that has defects or errors in craftsmanship.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace products that are found to be defective or damaged. To exchange the product for the same item, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and send your product to Patent Heirloom LLC, W6621 Cobblestone Ct., Greenville WI 54942, United States.
Refunds (if applicable)
Refunds will only be offered if Patent Heirloom LLC produces and ships an incorrect or inaccurate product to the buyer and buyer does not wish to have a replacement issued. Refunds or exchanges cannot be offered if more than 30 days has passed from the date of your original order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned to Patent Heirloom LLC in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund within 30 days, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of the above and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Gifts (if applicable)
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The time needed for your exchanged product to be shipped to you varies. Inquire about production and shipping time for the replacement item when you notify us about the defect.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Patent Heirloom LLC cannot guarantee accurate shipping of your returned item.
